The trilogy of Yin yoga sessions includes a comprehensive range of fundamental and intermediate to advanced Yin (and Yang) yoga postures practiced in the way they are intended to be by the founder, and working the muscles, joints, and connective tissue of the whole body. Paulie teaches in a simple and clear style that is free of technical jargon. He emphasizes doing the practice, not intellectualizing about it, by being present and quietly going within ourselves so that thinking falls away and the felt awareness of our primal body nature can be deeply experienced.
Paulie Zink is the founder of Yin yoga. He received intensive private training for ten years as the sole protege of a Chinese Qigong and Kung fu master. Paulie is a three time international martial arts grand champion and is renowned for his fluidity, flexibility, artistry and power in movement. He originated his art of Yin yoga out of the foundation of Taoist Qigong taught to him by his master, combined with his own studies of Taoist alchemy and his observations of various animals. He developed numerous postures, transitions, movements, and meditations designed to restore our innate ability to move with power and grace, to enhance energetic awareness in the body, and to awaken our primal spirit.
